Podcast Project Plan 1Title: Podcasts for EFL students
Main objective:Students hear pronunciation of words taken from their textbooks with sample sentences.
Level: Basic 1, 2 and 3
Class type: Young adults
Aim: Extra listening input
Activity focus: Listening and pronouncing words
Time: Max 3 minutes
Material: Computer with access to Internet / Headphones/ Students’Mp3s
Procedure:
1. Teacher tells students they will download podcasts to their MP3s.
2. Teacher sends the podcast to the students’ e-mails.
3. Student download the podcasts. One per week.
4. Teacher assigns listening to podcasts for one week.
5. Starting next week students are tested on the vocabulary from the last week. Tests can be oral or in writing.
6. Students report on how many times they heard the recordings and whether the teacher should make changes like adding words o any other comment.

Podcast Project Plan 2Title:
Podcasts for EFL students
Main objective:
Students hear a dialog between their teacher and a colleague (a teacher from the same Language school) .
Level: Pre-Intermediate 1
Class type: Young adults
Aim: To listen to a dialog and answer questions on a sheet (This would be a very simple dialog with common questions)
Activity focus: Listening and writing answers to questions
Time: Max 3 to 5 minutes
Material: Computer with access to Internet / Headphones/Students’ Mp3
Procedure:
1. Teacher tells students they will download podcasts to their MP3s.
2. Teacher sends the podcast to the students’ e-mails.
3. Student down load the podcasts. One per week.
4. Teacher assigns listening to podcasts and hands out sheets with questions relevant to the interview. They can have 3 days to finish the task.
5. In class, students report on their findings comparing their answers with their partners.
6. The podcast could be heard again in class in case students didn’t understand something or want to check on new vocabulary they noticed.
7.- As a follow up activity students could prepare additional questions to ask the interviewee. Or they could prepare a set of questions to ask other teachers.
8.- In pairs or small groups they interview the teacher of their choice.
9.- Students report to the class their findings.

Podcasts for EFL students
Main objective:
Students hear a dialog between their teacher and a colleague (a teacher from the same Language school).
Level: Intermediate and up
Class type: Young adults
Aim: To listen to a dialog and answer questions on a sheet (This would be a more complex dialog like asking for personal opinions about a topic)
Activity focus: Listening and writing answers to questions
Time: Max 3 to 5 minutes
Material: Computer with access to Internet / Headphones/Students’ Mp3
Procedure:
1. Teacher tells students they will download podcasts to their MP3s.
2. Teacher sends the podcast to the students’ e-mails.
3. Student down load the podcasts. One per week.
4. Teacher assigns listening to podcasts and hands out sheets with questions relevant to the interview. They can have 3 days to finish the task.
5. In class, students report on their findings comparing their answers with their partners.
